My Message about Social Entrepreneurship

 My message is a simple one:

1. Social entrepreneurship is an opportunity to make a unique personal contribution – quite literally `your chance to change the world’.    You only have one life.  Make it count.  Believing you can do it is half the battle.  Get inspired by people who have done it by visiting  www.socialenterpriseambassadors.org.

 2.  Social enterprise is about doing good AND doing well.   As a social entrepreneur you don't get extra points for staying poor!   And don't worry about how closely your business fits  some ideal `social enterprise model'.   It is your achievements  that will be remembered, not your business structure!

3. The thrill of life as a social entrepreneur is better than any job you will ever do. In the fairground of life, this is the Big Dipper. Frightening. Thrilling. Unmissable.  But be truly up for it: the challenge of starting a new social purpose company requires nothing less than total commitment.
